Why we verify card details:

We used to have free trials with no-card, but we almost got put out of business by constant automated spam attacks.

People sharing illegal copyrighted content and SEO spam would sign up for thousands of new accounts per day, which was not sustainable for us as a business.

So, while we understand that it’s a bit of an inconvenience, verifying cards up front helps us spend more time improving our product, and less time fighting off spammers.

We don’t do automatic charges based on starting a trial. When the 14 days is over: nothing happens. It’s completely up to you to decide whether you want to upgrade to a paid subscription or not.
